College Football — Evening Edition

9 OF OUR LAST 10 OFFICIAL PLAYS HAVE CASHED!

Tennessee +5.5 delivered another winner this afternoon, covering in a 20–17 loss to Texas.

That moves our recent Official Play run to 9–1 over the last ten selections.

Georgia -13.5 and Iowa +5.5 were still pending at the time of this edition's preparation. We will grade both when their games are final.

WEEKLY LEDGER

Completed results only

Official Plays: 4–1

Official Props: 0–2

Leans: 3–8

Maryland and Purdue have both been graded as Lean losses. Our remaining afternoon positions will be updated following their respective finals.

EVENING OFFICIAL PLAY

USC +3.5 vs. Oregon

Kickoff: 7:30 PM ET

We're taking the points with USC at home in one of Saturday night's marquee matchups.

Oregon deserves respect as the road favorite, but we're getting more than a field goal with a talented USC team playing in its own building.

USC has the offensive ability to create explosive plays and keep pressure on Oregon throughout the game. The key will be protecting the quarterback and avoiding the turnovers that could allow the Ducks to create separation.

We expect a competitive matchup where a three-point margin is entirely possible. That additional half-point matters.

OFFICIAL PLAY: USC +3.5

Playable at +3.5. Pass at +3 or lower.

EVENING LEANS

Texas A&M +8.5 at LSU

Kickoff: 7:30 PM ET

Death Valley at night is one of college football's more challenging road environments. We're accounting for that rather than dismissing it.

Nevertheless, Texas A&M possesses enough talent to remain competitive, and getting more than a touchdown gives us some protection if LSU wins a relatively close game.

The Aggies need to avoid early turnovers and prevent LSU from turning the home crowd into a significant momentum advantage.

There are enough questions surrounding A&M's personnel and consistency to keep this below Official status.

LEAN: Texas A&M +8.5

Mississippi State -4.5 vs. Missouri

Kickoff: 7:45 PM ET

We like Mississippi State's opportunity to establish control at home.

The Bulldogs will need consistent offensive production and an effective running game to justify laying more than a field goal against a quality Missouri opponent.

Defensive personnel concerns are part of the risk. If Missouri establishes offensive rhythm early, this becomes a much more difficult number to cover.

We're interested in Mississippi State, but the price keeps this in the Lean category.

LEAN: Mississippi State -4.5

ADDITIONAL EVENING GAMES

South Carolina at Alabama — PASS

South Carolina +12.5 doesn't offer the same value we would have considered at +14.5. We're staying away at the available number.

Kansas State at Cincinnati — PASS

Cincinnati +5/+5.5 deserves consideration as a home underdog, but we haven't identified a sufficient advantage to release a position.

No additional Official Props are being released for tonight.
