Wednesday got us back on track.

Atlanta has been atrocious through two weeks. There’s no reason to pretend otherwise.

But this is exactly where the number matters.

Michael Penix Jr. is back, and Atlanta finally gets another look at an offense that has far more talent at the skill positions than its early production suggests. Penix was a full participant this week coming off the knee injury.

Green Bay deserves to be favored at Lambeau, but asking the Packers to cover nearly a touchdown on a short week is different from simply asking them to win.

We’re buying Atlanta at its lowest point.

If the market drops through +4, the value changes considerably.

Golden State still has something meaningful to play for tonight.

A win secures the No. 2 seed, while a loss opens the door for Las Vegas to move ahead of them. Los Angeles has already been eliminated.

That makes the motivational edge pretty clear.

But 11.5 points is a big number, especially on the final night of the regular season, where rotations and late-game situations can get strange.

So we like the side without forcing it into Official status.
