Current lines as of publication. Odds can move—always shop for the best number before placing a wager.

🟢 Official Play #1 (1 Unit)

Yankees @ Phillies UNDER 8.5 (+100)

Play to: Under 8 (-115)

This projects as another tightly contested game. At even money, we're getting a much better price than yesterday's under. We expect both clubs to rely on quality pitching, and unless the market moves dramatically, we believe the value remains on the under.

🟢 Official Play #2 (1 Unit)

Dodgers Moneyline (-150)

Play to: -160

The Dodgers remain the superior club in this matchup, and unlike some of the heavier favorites on today's board, this price is still within our acceptable range.

🟡 Lean

Mariners Moneyline (-110)

This game grades out very evenly. Seattle gets a slight edge, but not enough for an official recommendation.

🚫 Square Tax Pass of the Day

Brewers Moneyline (-220)

Milwaukee may very well win this game.

That doesn't automatically make -220 a good bet.

Yesterday reminded us exactly why laying massive prices in baseball can erase an otherwise profitable card.

We also looked at the -1.5 run line (Even Money), but it didn't provide enough value to make it an official play.

Sometimes the best bet is no bet.

💰 Square Tip of the Day

Don't confuse the better team with the better bet.

Even the best team in baseball loses around 60 games every season. Sportsbooks know the public loves backing great teams, which is why heavy favorites often carry inflated prices.

Value—not action—is what we're chasing.
