World Series Game 1 | NBA | NHL | Friday Night College Football

Friday delivers a terrific sports schedule, led by the opening game of the World Series.

Coming off a successful Thursday Night Football selection, we're back to examining the numbers across the board.

Our Official Play ledger stands at 36–35 overall, with the NFL season record improving to 16–14.

Tonight, we're focusing on the matchups and prices that matter.

WORLD SERIES — GAME 1

Tampa Bay Rays at Milwaukee Brewers

8:00 PM ET | Total approximately 6.5

Two teams chasing their first championship meet in Milwaukee.

The Brewers give the ball to Jacob Misiorowski, whose overpowering velocity presents a major challenge for opposing hitters.

Nick Martinez starts for Tampa Bay.

Milwaukee is a significant favorite, but paying a premium for the home team requires careful evaluation.

And with the total at only 6.5, one big inning could change everything.

Our approach: PASS unless the market offers a meaningful improvement.

NBA — FRIDAY NIGHT SPOTLIGHT

New York Knicks at Boston Celtics

A familiar Eastern Conference rivalry continues with Boston favored by approximately a field goal.

Both teams have offensive talent, but early-season execution and defensive adjustments remain important.

LA Clippers at Los Angeles Lakers

The Lakers are laying a substantial number in this Los Angeles rivalry.

The matchup is attractive from a viewing standpoint, but that doesn't automatically translate into betting value.

Houston Rockets at San Antonio Spurs

Athleticism, interior matchups, and defensive execution will play major roles.

Houston enters favored, although San Antonio's home-court advantage deserves consideration.

Memphis Grizzlies at Golden State Warriors

Golden State is favored in a matchup with a high projected total.

Pace, transition defense, and shooting efficiency will determine whether that total is justified.

COLLEGE FOOTBALL — FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS

Duke at Virginia | 7:00 PM ET

A competitive ACC matchup featuring two programs looking to respond after recent losses.

Virginia enters with significant injury concerns, while Duke has its own roster challenges.

It's an interesting game for anyone who follows line movement and personnel-related market adjustments.

Additional games include UMass–UConn, Army–Tulsa, Air Force–Wyoming, and NC State–Stanford.

We're focused on matchup quality rather than the number of games available.

NHL — TWO-GAME SLATE

Montreal at Chicago | 8:00 PM ET

Montreal enters favored, but Chicago's goaltending and ability to create scoring opportunities deserve attention.

Tampa Bay at Colorado | 9:00 PM ET

Andrei Vasilevskiy faces Mackenzie Blackwood in an intriguing goaltending matchup.

Two capable offenses meet in a game where goaltending and special teams could have an enormous impact.
