THE SQUARE TAX | SUNDAY NFL REPORT
FREE EDITION — OCTOBER 11, 2026
NFL Sunday Is Here. Don't Bet the Logo. Bet the Number.
We're coming into Sunday with momentum. Our Official Plays have won four of their last five, and our NFL record stands at 12–5 (70.6%).
But yesterday's results don't determine today's outcomes. Every matchup still needs to earn its place on the betting card.
Today brings an interesting combination of ugly Northeast weather, divisional matchups, quarterback questions, and several spreads sitting near football's most important number: three.
Sunday's NFL Market Watch
Giants at Commanders
The Giants enter 3–1, while Washington sits at 1–3. Jayden Daniels returns from an elbow injury, and rain and wind could complicate both offenses. Washington's injury situation adds another layer of uncertainty. A divisional game that deserves close attention.
Colts at Steelers
Pittsburgh has the home-field advantage, but offensive consistency is a question. Indianapolis has struggled with efficiency as well. Which team can protect the quarterback, avoid turnovers, and finish drives? This could come down to a handful of possessions.
Bengals at Dolphins
Cincinnati brings explosive offensive talent into Miami, with Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins available. Miami is still searching for its first victory. Unlike the games farther north, this one should be played in warm conditions. Cincinnati's passing attack against Miami's secondary is a key matchup.
Browns at Jets
Two inconsistent offenses, capable defenses, and a forecast calling for heavy rain in New Jersey. Field position, turnovers, and the kicking game could determine this contest. Conditions deserve as much attention as the teams themselves.
Raiders at Patriots
New England is favored by approximately a field goal or slightly more. Las Vegas is an intriguing underdog, but the Patriots have the home-field advantage. Third-down execution and turnovers will be critical.
Bears at Packers
Chicago enters as a slight road favorite. The Bears' quarterback situation complicates the matchup, while Green Bay has struggled to establish consistency. This isn't a game to approach based on team reputation alone.
Texans at Titans
Houston is laying approximately a touchdown despite a difficult start to the season. Tennessee's offensive struggles make this a particularly important test of Houston's ability to control a game it is expected to win.
Vikings at Saints
Minnesota enters as a narrow favorite. In a spread this small, quarterback efficiency, red-zone execution, and home-field advantage matter considerably.
Late Afternoon Watch
Broncos at Chargers
Denver is favored on the road. Protection, pressure, and explosive plays will determine whether the Broncos can justify the number.
Lions at Cardinals
One of Sunday's highest projected totals. Detroit's offensive firepower faces an Arizona team capable of contributing points of its own. Defensive stops could be at a premium.
49ers at Seahawks
An important NFC West matchup. Seattle hosts a talented San Francisco team in a game where quarterback play and fourth-quarter execution could decide the result.
Sunday Night Football
Ravens at Falcons
Atlanta is favored at home, with Baltimore dealing with major quarterback uncertainty. Derrick Henry and the Ravens' ground attack could have an outsized role. Atlanta must avoid allowing Baltimore to control the clock.
Monday Night Preview
Bills at Rams
A high-profile matchup with one of the week's highest totals. Both offenses have the ability to score quickly, but price and matchup matter more than the names on the jerseys.
